I spotted the Wii Light Sword whilst perusing one of my favorite online stores and I thought Wii + lightsaber = embarrasing, but cool. The spiel states you simply slip your Wii Remote into the handle and press the on button to instantly power up your light sword, the power up and down effect is done gradually until the light sword is at its full length.
Sounds cool, but what does it actually do? Well, as far as I can surmise, not much. I imagine Star Wars Lego would be pretty funny to play with this, but other than the geek factor in that, I don’t really see the use of this at the moment. Typical the one time Europe gets something gaming related early it would be fairly useless. It’s due out at the end of the month. |
